Everyone in the family is sure to find a favorite. New for 2012 is "Dinosaurs Alive! on Adventure Island," an incredible display of 50 moving and roaring life-size animatronic dinosaurs (additional-fee attraction).

Families with young children find plenty to enjoy: four delightful kids’ areas feature rides and live appearances by their favorite PEANUTS characters. There are even kid-sized coasters! Juniors also enjoy lower admission, and the very young are free.

Award-winning entertainment includes three high-energy live musical shows, an ice-skating extravaganza starring Snoopy, "All Wheels Extreme" exhilarating stunt bikers, and the enchanting "Starlight Experience," which transforms the Frontier Trail into a sparkling wonderland of lights and music at night.

In September and October, HalloWeekends offers another reason to scream. Amusement park thrills combine with spooky chills for a family-friendly event during the day, and terrifying nighttime frights.

This indoor waterpark resort features liquid fun for the whole family in a tropical island setting. Adventures include a wave pool, water coaster, slides, kiddie water play areas, and children's activities, including a visit from Snoopy and his PEANUTS friends. The resort also has a day spa, state-of-the-art arcade, restaurants, and retail shops. Overnight guests also enjoy early entry and ticket discounts for Cedar Point, in season.

An activity complex located on the Cedar Point peninsula that features RipCord Skycoaster, two go-kart tracks, two challenging 18-hole miniature golf courses, and Skyscraper, a thrilling ride that spins riders in a circular motion 16 stories above the ground at speeds of 55 mph! Challenge Park is open to the public and admission to Cedar Point or Soak City is not required. Each attraction has a separate fee.

An 18-acre outdoor waterpark located next to Cedar Point, Soak City adds a cool new way to have fun in 2012 with a towering, multi-lane mat racer. It also features Splash Zone, a huge bucket and multi-story interactive water play area with tipping bucket, a half-million-gallon wave pool, Zoom Flume raft ride, tube slides, a wild inner tube river, and a relaxing meandering river. Choo-Choo Lagoon and Tadpole Town offer fun for little ones, Eerie Falls plunges riders into dark tunnels, and Adventure Cove is a great place for parents and children to play. For adults only, there's Bubbles Swim-Up Bar and adjacent hot tub. Soak City guests also enjoy the Cedar Point Beach. Open daily Memorial Day weekend-Labor Day.
