While the Lake Erie Shores & Islands is best known for walleye, perch and smallmouth bass, anglers here also catch catfish, steelhead trout, largemouth bass, white bass, rock bass and other species. During the winter, venture out onto the frozen lake with a guide to ice fish inside a protective shanty. A wide variety of fishing charters and walk-on head boats provide an opportunity for a great day of fishing.
